INTERVIEW WITH TRAVIS AND ROSEY ZACHARIAS
Discussion Questions
Travis and Rosey talk about the way they work when the congregation is almost entirely made up of new believers. Is there something we can learn from them as we integrate new believers into a congregational (or other) governance model?
In terms of avoiding the problems with top-down leadership, does plural leadership have the same advantages as congregational governance? Does it have the same flaws?
What do you think of Travis and Rosey’s solution of visiting with individual families to get opinions?
Travis and Rosey express the importance of character over structure. This is true, but we don’t always see a person’s character clearly and may end up with someone of bad character. How would this be prevented or resolved within various governance models? Is congregationalism well designed for such a failure? If not, why not?
