Dr. Mandryk mentions some things about her context that modify how she lives out her faith. Are their aspects of the culture you live in that are sensitive and where you need to modify how you present your faith in Christ?
Sometimes we hear a call to address injustice in a podcast like this one, but when we turn the lens on our community, the injustice is harder to see. When you consider your community, do you see things that need to be challenged? If not, why is that?
There’s a lot of “speaking up for justice” in our society and much of it doesn’t align with the Christian principles. Can we learn what it looks like to resist well or poorly, by watching the tactics used by others.
What difference does it make to speak to the state as a follower of Jesus and not just an interested citizen?
