When you think about baptism, or your baptism specifically if you are baptized, do you think of it as an invitation to your church community to help you stay the course and correct you if/when needed?
Has a church member, other than your immediate family, ever corrected or admonished you?
Can you think of a time when they probably should have?
Does your church experience include a sense of everyone having something to contribute? If not, is that something you’d like to see happen? What might stand in the way of that kind of community?
